Decolonizing Therapy: Addressing the impacts of colonization over generations
Wōcc actively practices decolonization in its practice. We recognize and address the dehumanizing impacts of colonization, imperialism, and systemic oppression on individuals and communities—particularly Indigenous peoples and people of color.
We are committed to creating and holding intentional spaces where individuals can show up as their authentic selves. These spaces are inclusive, culturally responsive, and empowering—grounded in care, connection, and collective healing.
Our work centers healing, reflection, and activation while actively dismantling oppressive systems within and beyond our spaces, as well as within our individual and collective psyche.

We’re on a mission to shift the norms around mental health counseling, social services, and how society approaches healing and support. While we may be a new organization, this isn’t our first rodeo. Collectively, our team brings 15–20 years of experience in the field.
We created this space so that each of us can show up as our authentic selves, without having to explain what is often understood amongst women of color.

You can reach us anytime via our contact page, email us directly at info@woccnetwork.org, DM us on social media, or request an appointment through the portal. Carrier pigeons are also accepted. ;-) We aim to respond within 1-3 days, the sooner the better.

We believe everyone deserves access to quality, individualized care. As a nonprofit practice, we do not turn anyone away based on their ability to pay.
We work with Medicaid, Managed Care Plans, employer-sponsored insurance plans, and grant funding to help cover the cost of services whenever possible.
At the same time, in order to continue serving our community, we must also cover the costs of our staff, rent, and daily operations. Because of this, we offer flexible payment options designed to meet a variety of financial situations.
For individuals who do not have insurance — or who do not qualify for government-subsidized coverage based on income (we help apply for Medicaid and the Marketplace, and CareLink) — we offer a subscription model.
